DICK LORY Cool It Baby (Mythical Rare Rock N Roll 1956 UK 7" single on a black & silver London label with original triangular centre, also featuring 'Ball Room Baby', two exceptional Rockabilly/RnR groovers sure to impress, with the A-side having the extra credit of being from the film 'Teenage Rebel'. Real name Dick Glasser, he produced artists such as The Ventures & Bobby Vee & also had his songs performed by Gene Vincent & Dale Hawkins. It was through the London label in the UK where British music fans had the opportunity to hear these American styles for the first time. Unfortunately this one sold so badly in this country, finding one single copy of this 45 is nigh on impossible! Complete with the original die-cut company sleeve, the vinyl is carefully graded VG/VG+ as there are some light paper scuffs & hairlines both sides, most of which have very little to no effect on play & the labels themselves appear Near Mint. With only six copies known to exist, just try to find another one! 45-HL-D8348)
