THE VIV RODD JAZZ ORCHESTRA Changing With The Times (1977 UK 11-track private press stereo LP by the Cornish teacher, composer, pianist and arranger featuring a collection of talented musicians 'moonlighting' from their commercial music day jobs to record this in two sessions at the Grand View Hotel in Newquay & 'The Talk Of The West', with Ray Roberts, John Woollams, Larry Johns & Fred Sibley on Saxes & Flute, Denis Roberts, Ronnie Downes, John Austin & Paul Timmins on Trumpets, Trevor Hargreaves, Eddie Ashton & Dougie Piper on Trombones, Viv on Keyboards, Paul Hodder on Guitar, Dave Freeman on Bass, Pete Bailey on Drums & Bill Doe & Alan Blackett on Percussion, silk laminated picture sleeve. The flimsy sleeve shows a degree of shelfwear with some creasing in places but remains respectable and the vinyl is in excellent condition with just a couple of light surface scuffs to show for over forty years TC2004)
