Tracklisting & More Information

The disc is one of a kind and appears to be a high-grade methyl cellulose metal based lacquer acetate cut to 10" size. The label is custom studio made by RCA Nashville and is hand annotated in red pen with the artist & song detail. The acetate is mounted on black with a cream surround, housed in glass & superbly presented in a heavy 25" x 37" wooden frame with decorative gold inset.

This impressive piece was once part of the world famous Jimmy Velvet collection, the largest collection of authentic Elvis Presley items in the world. It comes complete with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by President & Chairman, Jimmy Velvet.

The piece was bought by its one fastidious owner at a private Jimmy Velvet Elvis collection auction until it was recently sold to us by its owner, Danny Davenport, a talent scout for Warner Brothers. It was actually purchased as a birthday present for Danny [Boy] by country star Travis Tritt, who Danny helped discover.

The acetate also comes complete with the birthday card Travis included as part of the gift [& signed], as well as the table number card from the original Butterfield & Butterfield auction house which gives the original purchase date of June 18th & 19th 1994. Last but not least, there is a bonus CD-R acetate for the 3:59 'Danny Boy' track. Impeccable provenance, indeed and a star piece in any Elvis collection!
