ERNEST ANSERMET conducts L'ORCHESTRE DE LA SUISSE ROMANDE Tchaikovsky: The Sleeping Beauty (Complete Ballet 1959 UK first edition deep groove stereo 3-LP box set, on a wideband & unboxed Decca label with 'Original Recording By' perimeter print alongthe top of the labels. Comes housed in the original 'grey trim' pasted, textured & front laminated 12" picture box with gold block spine lettering, 'full frequency stereophonic sound' die-cut inners & eight-page illustrated libretto booklet.This is a nice one owner example. The box is Excellent with some minor scuffing & clean front laminate. There is the odd paper fracture to a corner & a 2" hairline split in the back of the box at the top due to the heavy weight. Because of the high quality [& quiet] pressing from Decca, there is some audible vinyl surface on occasion during the quieter sections [unavoidable with vinyl] & the sound is glorious on the whole. The vinyl discs grade a very Excellent, each side appears super clean, & the labels appear Near Mint SXL2160-1-2)
