DEEP PURPLE Empire Pool, Wembley (1976 UK pair of ticket stubs for the Saturday, for the critically savaged 13th March show with Tommy Bolin doing the honours on guitar. The band completed the tour under strained circumstances until the finaldate, two days later in Liverpool and eventually split up in July, declaring that nobody would ever perform under the name Deep Purple again. The death of Tommy Bolin in December the same year finshed off a bleak year for the members. The tickets show light creasing with all the print clean and legible, showing no tears or writing. A nice exhibit in the history of Deep Purple)
