BOB JAMES TRIO Explosions (1965 US 5-track stereo LP on the black & white ESP Disk label, also starring Barre Phillips (bass) & Robert Pozar (percussion). This explosive record veers head first into the Avant-Garde & is led by the same Bob James who gave us the seventies rare groove classics, Nautilus & Take Me To The Mardi Gras, & commercial forays into smooth jazz. The pasted picture sleeve [VG] shows some foxing around the edges & just a little scuffing, with all text legible. The vinyl is Excellent with a few faint cosmetic scuffs not affecting play ESP-1009)
