THE PORTSMOUTH SINFONIA Plays The Popular Classics (Freaky 1973 UK 11-track LP on the Transatlantic label with colour logo one side, produced by Brian Eno & featuring Eno on clarinet(!). The ensemble comprised radical non-musicians & was encouraged by the great Gavin Bryars & influenced by Cornelius Cardew & his anarchic ''Scratch'' Orchestra. The picture sleeve is fully laminated with album notes from Eno on the back. The cover is Excellent with some minor laminate lift along thespine whilst the vinyl grades Excellent & still looks barely played TRA275)
