QUEEN Bicycle Race (Every Queen fan will know of the story behind the poster for the seventh studio album, Jazz, which was released on the 10th November 1978 and to date has sold over five million copies. For those unsure, there was a bicycle race with nude women held to promote the album and the double A Side single Fat Bottomed Girls/Bicycle Race, there is also the mythical story about a well know shop insisting that all the saddles replaced before they could think about selling thebikes. Anyway, what we have here is a copy of that poster which should have been attached to the inside of the gatefold picture sleeve, however this particular copy never made it to the sleeve and still has the perforated section still attached. This was sent to the previous owner from the actual record company, still in the original envelope with the 'EMI Records Advertising Division' address label on the front & post-dated '22 XI 78', twelve days after the actual album release. The actual poster is flawless as has been stored in the envelope for over thirty five years!)
