32ND TURNOFF 32nd Turn Off (Extremely Rare & Cool-As-F*ck 1969 UK 9-track stereo LP on Jay Boy - Explosive, Psychedelic Garage Afro Punk action from Brixton, packed with pounding breaks, dirty fuzz guitar a la Hendrix & delirious ghetto soul vocals, masterminded by Eddy Grant & featuring his brother Conran on drums. Features a couple of dancefloor belters in the shape of a 'West Indian Woman' & an absolute screamer called 'Young People', fantastic pop art-style sleeve with flipbacks & textured finish. This record is so difficult to find. The cover [VG] is a stunning off white, & shows a little minor paper loss from scuffing along the edges, which is forgiveable with age. The heavyweight vinyl is super clean & near mint with minimal evidence of play. Big recommendation! JSL1)
