JOHNNY CASH/ANDRE KOSTELANETZ The Lure Of The Grand Canyon (Rare 1961 first US advance issue of the 6-track mono LP with a demo sticker on side two of the six 'eye' 'nonbreakable' Columbia label, demo stickered pasted picture sleeve. Very unusual long player that's not strictly an album of Cash’s music, rather a concept album consisting primarily of American composer Ferde Grofé’s Grand Canyon Suite, the final track is an 11-minute spoken word piece from Cash about a day at the Canyon! The sleeve has a small split along the bottom edge and oterwise shows some slight edgwear/storage wear, although nothing excessive. The vinyl is Excellent with just the odd light hairline to indicate play - a real Cash curio and the first we've ever had! CL1622)
