JOHNNY GRIFFIN SEXTET The Little Giant (1959 US first issue 6-track deep groove mono LP on the blue & silver 'reel & mic' Riverside label, also starring Blue Mitchell, Julian Priester, Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones & Albert Heath, pasted picture sleeve with historic tape reinforced corner edges. The cover has some light scuffing to the paper around the edges & some mild fading considering its vintage, with all text legible including along the spine. The vinyl is a clean VG/VG+. Visuallythere is some cosmetic wear, mainly to the run-off grooves, & the vinyl itself is beautiful with no scratches. Playback remains exceptional on a mono setting, with just the lightest bit of surface during the quieter sections. Tough to find! RLP12-304)
