CARPENTERS They Long To Be Close To You (Rare 1970 UK Emidisc double-sided 7" metal-based vinyl acetate for the single release, with typewritten artist and title details on the studio label. Also includes Love Of The Common People by Laura, with handwritten Fontana label. Being so fragile and over forty-five years old, this acetate displays a fair amount of scuffing to the playing surface, although it plays without fault. Pressed in extremely small numbers for sonic review, very few ofthese ever escape the studio & were never intended for general public consumption in this form. An amazing find!)
