JOHNNY GRIFFIN QUARTET Way Out! (1958 US first press 6-track deep groove mono LP on the dark blue & silver 'reels & mic' label, a great Bop date led by the vibrant command of the tenorist, with backing from Kenny Drew on Piano, Wilbur Ware onBass & Philly Joe Jones on Drums. The pasted laminate sleeve has some patches of light foxing on the back, but with all text legible & otherwise just a few miniscule paper splits in one or two corners. The spine looks glorious & the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition, with just the lightest few signs of play RLP12-274)
