ROLAND KIRK Early Roots (1984 UK stereo repackaging of the 1956 7-track LP, formerly entitled Triple Threat, this was Kirk's debut album. It features the first recorded examples of Kirk's trademark playing of multiple wind instruments at the same time plus early overdubbing techniques, backed by James Madison [piano], Carl Pruitt [bass] & Henry Duncan [drums]. The picture sleeve is still in open shrink with shop stickers intact. The vinyl is Excellent & looks barely played AFF121)
