VARIOUS All-Stars '46 Esquire's All-American Jazz Concert (1975 Japanese 20-track double LP, featuring live recordings from Duke Ellington & Woody Herman & their respective Orchestra plus Nat King Cole's Trio & combinations thereof, all introduced by Orson Welles. The actual dates for these range from February 1945 to November '46 captured in various NYC & Chicago hot spots or crack dens(!), housed in a stunning & unique gatefold sleeve. The sleeve shows just a few patches of foxing inside whilst both vinyl discs appear near mint KV-302)
