STANLEY BUETENS LUTE ENSEMBLE In a Medieval Garden (1966 US 15-track stereo LP on the label that was the brainchild of [Shhhh....] Jac Holzman of Elektra Records in an effort to bring culture to the masses if The Doors weren't enough for them. What he created were a series of wonderfully off the wall collections of well recorded and executed music that was at a tangent from the more usual 'Big Hitter' composers and he priced them well too, so that you could pick up two of his unusual LPs to one DG Beethoven. Much to all but Jac's surprise, they became very successful! This particular copy shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains in near 'as new' condition, very close to how it would have been if you bought it to see in 'The Summer Of Love' all those years ago H-71120)
