THE EARLY MUSIC CONSORT OF LONDON directed by DAVID MUNROW The Art Of Courtly Love (If you've ever wondered how you were going to get through the houppelande and divest the wench of her kirtle, then this could be just the box set for you, dealing as it does with the art of love and how best to go about it, spread over three long playing Gramophone records and accompanied by a thirty six page fully illustrated libretto, all decently packaged in a nice textured picture box. The threealbums are themed The Art Of Guillaume de Machaut, Late Fourteeth Century Avant Garde & The Court Of Burgundy. The box shows some mild shelfwear & one split corner, but apart from a little foxing in places, the booklet remains near 'as new' & the vinyl also is near 'as new' condition with few signs of play. So, Stint thy clappe and get listening! SLS863)
