AFRIKA BAMBAATAA & SOULSONIC FORCE Planet Rock: The Album (1986 Japanese promotional 7-track mini-LP, collecting the groundbreaking 12" releases dating back to '82, the same year the stone cold classic title track was released, incorporating elements of Kraftwerk’s 'Trans Europe Express' & the first documented use of an 808 drum machine in hip-hop/R&B. The rest of the record is no slouch either, including the classic single 'Searching For The Perfect Beat' & collaborations with Melle Mel & D.C.’s Trouble Fun. The picture sleeve is near mint & complete with the fold-out Japanese/lyric insert & obi. The vinyl is 'as new')
