STATUS QUO Rock 'Til You Drop - The Event (Cast your mind back to the early 1990s, things were not going that well for the mighty Quo. So to promote the release of their latest album, Rock 'Til You Drop, they came up with something truly unique. September 21st 1991 saw the band head out on the road on a tour with a difference, they performed four sell out British arena shows [Sheffield Arena, Glasgow SE&CC, Birmingham NEC and Wembley Arena] in eleven hours and eleven minutes, earning them a place in the Guinness Book of Records. What we have here is a quantity of items related to this historic event, with a few extras from the period. This pack includes a tour itinerary 'Schedule' book for the day, including travel arrangements for both band and crew, venues, hotels, flight details and more. A Spitfire plane shaped pass for the press conference & photo call, along with a fax showing the design for the pass.

Two laminated passes, one Access All Areas in red with a lanyard attached, the other for VIP in blue which has atached to the back a Press Pass.

A four page fax with cover sheet dated the 11th July 1991, featuring details about what they were planning for the event, a very interesting document.

And finally a medium sized black cotton short sleeved t-shirt for the tour, with an image of Rick & Francis on the front and tour details on the reverse.

Extra Items
Before the band went on their record breaking tour in the summer they co-headline Britain's biggest stadium tour of the year when they played eight sell-out shows with Rod Stewart & Joe Cocker. Over 260,000 people attended gigs at Celtic FC in Glasgow, Manchester United FC, Gateshead Stadium in Newcastle, Ipswich Town FC and Wembley Stadium.

From this tour we have flyer adverting the shows, a ticket stub and a VIP laminated pass for each of the acts.

And finally a tour programme for the autumn United Kingdom tour, and a rare original A5 sized spiral-bound tour itinerary book, covering the dates from the 31st October to the 22nd December. Includes information for tour dates, venues, hotels and travel arrangements for both band and crew. Also listing Crew & Band members as well as managers, promoters, tour related offices and more, complete with the original front & back laminated cover.

You have to agree, this is bundle that any fan must have.
