DEEP PURPLE Shades Of Deep Purple - 2006 (2006 US limited edition stereo audiophile issue of the 1968 8-track vinyl LP pressed onto high quality heavyweight vinyl, featuring amazing reworkings of 'Hey Joe' and 'Help' [Beatles], plus their US chart topper 'Hush', picture sleeve reproducing the original album artwork. This was the first longplayer from the group, prior to Ian Gillan and Roger Glover joining in 1969. At this stage they weren't the hugely successful rock giants they were soon to become, although they were very popular in the US, and spent most of their time touring there. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains excellent with little sign of play T-102)
