BILL EVANS TRIO Moonbeams (1977 Japanese issue of the 1962 8-track stereo LP, the first album recorded after the death of Evans' bassist wunderkind Scott LaFaro. Opens with the modal 'Re: Person I Knew', a nod to producer Orrin Keepnews, & stars Chuck Israels on bass & Paul Motian. The pasted picture sleeve is Very Good [1" split in a right corner] with some edge scuffing yet the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with minimal play, priced advantageously SMJ-6175)
