RON CARTER Empire Jazz (1980 Japanese white title label promo sample 5-track LP, key selections from John Williams' Star Wars soundtracks are given a superb jazz makeover by Ron Carter supported by a crack team of players including Bob James,Billy Cobham, Ralph Macdonald, Hubert Laws and more, housed in a 'must-see' heavyweight sleeve depicting Darth Vadar watching C3PO, R2D2 and a Stormtrooper play on stage!! The sleeve shows only very minor edge wear and is completed by a printed Japanese inner and Obi-Strip which, aside from a small piece of Japanese writing, is intact and in excellent condition. The vinyl is superb and looks 'as new' - a wonderful addition to any jazz connoisseur or Star Wars fans collection MWF1084)
