VARIOUS Environments - Disc 3 (Tired of the Rat Race ? Ever felt the need to chill ? Stuck in a Tower Block with no interaction with the outside world ? Live in a shoe ? This might just be the LP for you! In 1971, there were three stereo LPs released by Syntonic Research, this being the third, with a whole side devoted to a recording of different environments. This particular disc features a thirty four minute recording made at a 'Be-In' in New York's Central Park on April 6th 1969, while side two contains a thirty seven minute recording of the black field crickets getting on down during dusk at New Hope, Pennsylvania in August 1970. The gatefold picture sleeve has copious notes inside about the recordings and the back is full of testimonials from suitably chilled customers of the previous works. So, turn off the lights and drift away to the environment of your choice. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains excellent with little sign of play, so no interruptions from pesky clicks as you surrender to erewhon SD60003)
