DUKE ELLINGTON Duke Ellington & His Orchestra 1943-1945 (Complete 1985-8 US set of NINE LP volumes from the archives of the World Broadcasting series of transcriptions that were studio recorded, but by being earmarked for broadcast theyescaped the then-ban on recording, giving fans the chance to hear what many consider to be the Ellington band at its peak. Each volume is housed in its own picture sleeve with extensive album notes. All covers are still in the open shrinkwrap &each vinyl disc appears barely played CLP-101~9)
