WYNTON MARSALIS An Interview With Wynton Marsalis (1981 US white title label promotional LP featuring Wynton being interviewed by Ed Williams about his debut album, the self titled 'Wynton Marsalis'. The album was recorded before he had reached his twentieth birthday and while he was still a member of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers. In many ways it was a pivotal event for jazz in the eighties, as Marsalis became the central figure in a return to the acoustic styles of the late fifties and sixties. The sleeve shows a little shelfwear with some edge scuffing but the vinyl remains excellent with little sign of play AS1366)
