BENNY GOLSON with THE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ ORCHESTRA Stockholm Sojourn (1965 US 8-track mono LP, recorded for Prestige & featuring a number of US ex-pats such as Benny Bailey, Cecil Payne & Grachan Moncour III taking up residence in Sweden, which proved a haven for many jazzmen. Also on the record are Polish bassit Roman Dylong, who managed to slip out under the Iron Curtain, plus the ultra talented Swedes Bengt-Arne Wallin [trumpet], Eje Thelin [trombone] & Rune Falk [baritone sax], front laminated pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light wear & some corner scuffing & the vinyl remains in excellent condition withjust light surface scuffs to show for its forty five years PR7361)
