THELONIOUS MONK QUARTET In Europe Volume 1 - Concert At The Teatro Lirico, Milan (1963 UK blue 'reel & mic' Riverside label 8-track LP, recorded live in Milan on the 21st of April '61. Charlie Rouse, John Ore, and Frankie Dunlop all supportthe great eccentric and inspiring jazz pianist, with the classic Monk numbers Straight No Chaser and Episthrophy played out that night. The Side 2 label and the reverse of the pasted laminate picture sleeve have both been 'Sample Not For Sale' stamped. The sleeve has only light signs of age and wear, the vinyl has only a few very light surface scuffs and only a couple of spindle marks on the labels to show it has only been played a few times RLP002)
