LED ZEPPELIN The Song Remains The Same (2008 US withdrawn limited edition remastered AUDIOPHILE half speed mastered 16-track FOUR LP box set pressed on high quality 180gm White Vinyl - Originally released in 1976, these recordings capture the band during a three-night stint at New York's Madison Square Gardens [27th - 29th July 1973], expanded with six additional tracks which did not appear on the original release, complete with a twenty four page booklet withdozens of previously unpublished photographs and four individual jackets with new and unique artwork, all housed in a deluxe archival box with embossing & foil-stamping, complete with the original opened custom stickered shrink. This astonishing item is one of only TWO HUNDRED pressed, which never saw retail release at all after the band vetoed the idea. The two hundred copies that were pressed on white vinyl were intended to be distributed with one hundred for the band, label executives and press & promotion use and one hundred to be mixed in with the regular black vinyl copies available only from their website. Unfortunately, this wasn't cleared with the band first and they weren't happy with the plan, consequently the white vinyl copies were never distributed and very few have survived. This is one of those elusive white copies, which, although opened, remains unplayed & pristine. A fantastic item & the only one of these that we have ever seen and probably the last that we are likely to see for a very long time R1357564)
