CHARLIE PARKER Charlie Parker On Dial (Amazing early 1970s Japanese 98-track SEVEN LP vinyl box set featuring six discs of his complete recordings for Dial in the mid forties, with a bonus seventh disc of live recordings captured during the period, entitled 'Lullaby In Rhythm'. The box is augmented by a sixteen page illustrated Japanese text booklet detailing the sessions, but all is not lost if you can't read Japanese, because each disc has its own paper picture sleeve with the same extensive notes on the back in English. Housed in a 12" x 12" x 1" picture stickered black textured heavyweight box with silver obi-strip. The box has some light storage marks including a slight tear along the top left corner and some minor foxing in the bottom right corner; the obi has some light creasing and foxing on reverse. The contents all remain in near mint condition EOR-9028G)
