Awarded by 3M’s Magnetic Audio-Video Products Division to RIAA Certified Albums recorded on 3M Audio Tape. Nominees for this prestigious award are judged by a panel of five well-known and respected industry veterans, as well as one 3M representative. Known among collectors as one of the rarest category of officialindustry awards, authentic Scotty Awards are rarely seen on the retail market, since they are only awarded to the winning album’s artist, producer, and studio engineer. In addition, the presentation of the award involves a generous donation to the American Muscular Dystrophy Association in the name of the LP. Measures 21" x 21" - framed and glazed.
