VAUGHAN WILLIAMS Sinfonia Antartica (1954 UK HMV red and gold semi label mono vinyl LP. Performed by the Halle Orchestra and Choir conducted by Sir John Barbirolli with Margaret Ritchie, front and back laminated picture sleeve with scallopedflipbacks and extensive liner notes. This is one of the very first recordings of what is arguably Vaughan-William's most sucessful symphonic piece. The sleeve shows a little light edgewear to the opening edge, whilst the vinyl looks barely played ALP1102)
