SERGE CHALOFF SEXTET Boston Blow-Up! (1980 Japanese only issue of the fantastic 1955 10-track mono LP, produced by Stan Kenton & putting the Baritone into Be-Bop, also featuring Everett Evans on Bass, Boots Mussulli on Alto Saxophone, Herb Pomeroy on Trumpet, Ray Santisi on Piano & Jimmy Zitano on Drums, unique picture sleeve variant with full Japanese sleeve notes on the back. The sleeve shows some light shelfwear & a bit of age yellowing to the back, but nothing unreasonable. The vinyl is pristine. A wonderful copy of this fantastic album at an advantageous price ECJ-50043)
