JOAN SHAW Sings For Swingers (Rare 1961 South African 12-track
mono LP by the young singer who would later adopt the name 'Salena
Jones', flipback pinched spine picture sleeve with sleeve notes by
Leonard Feather. The very flimsy sleeve, as can be expected with a
fifty year old item hailing from South Africa, does show some ringwear
& light edge scuffing, but the spine is still clearly readable & there are
no splits or tears. The story of remarkable preservation continues with
the solid 'deep groove' label pressing, where there are just a couple of
light surface scuffs visible upon close inspection which turn out to be
mostly cosmetic. A very nice VG+/EX- copy of this rare album which
you will be unlikely to better! PSK3138)
