VAUGHAN WILLIAMS Sinfonia Antartica (1968 UK red RCA Victor mono vinyl LP. Performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andre Previn. The Sinfonia Antartica began life as incidental music for the 1949 film, Scott of the Antarctic. However, Vaughan Williams felt moved to expand the work into a symphonic piece, which was first performed in 1953. Front laminated picture sleeve with extensive liner notes RB6736)
