METHODS OF MAYHEM A Public Disservice Announcement (2010 UK 11-track CD album - Of course, everyone knows Tommy Lee as one quarter of arguably the most debauched band in the history of recorded music, Motley Crue. During his well-publicized stint in incarceration where he spent much of his time writing, Tommy threw himself into the recording of these songs on his release for what would later become Methods Of Mayhem. This new album is highly experimental in its nature as it sees TommyLee collaborating with the world, uploading the core components of recorded tracks onto his site, for download, inviting anyone who wished to add their playing or otherwise re-interpret the music however they saw fit. Lee listened to every single submission that was uploaded, chose the best, and integrated the actual audio tracks into the album's final cuts. 'A Public Disservice Announcement' is a highly eclectic album, crazy and chaotic, very much like the creator of the album himself. There are catchy and melodic turns like lead single 'Time Bomb' and the anthemic 'Louder'. The albums heaviest moment is provided by 'Fight Song' and is very much a nod to the first album's nu-metal roots. And then there's, 'Drunk Uncle Pete', a track that immediately serves itself up as the ultimate frat party anthem. It's an album that aims to please and has something for everyone!)
