COHEED AND CAMBRIA Year Of The Black Rainbow (2010 UK 12-track CD album - Coheed and Cambria's fifth studio album is the eagerly awaited prequel to 'The Amory Wars' tetralogy and features the studio debut of drummer Chris Pennie [formerly of Dillinger Escape Plan]. 'Year Of The Black Rainbow' was produced by Atticus Ross [Nine Inch Nails, Jane's Addiction] and Joe Barresi [Queens of the Stone Age, Tool], who according to Sanchez: 'They have helped us evolve our sound to be more powerful and dynamic than ever and we think it's definitely our best work to date.' The new album is a departure from their previous efforts with a lot more electronic and programmed elements making their way into the mix!)
