Songs such as 'Sally', 'Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye' and 'Now Is The Hour' kept spirits alive throughout the Second World War and Gracie remained a star until her death in the 1970s. This brand new collection brings together 25 recordings, including 5 which have never been released commercially before now. Taken from broadcasts on US radio during the 30s, they have been newly discovered in the Decca vault. In addition, a brand new duet has been recorded, using the magic of 21st Century recording techniques to add the voice of Jane Horrocks to Gracie's original recording of 'Now Is The Hour'!)
