VIC LEWIS & HIS ORCHESTRA Vic Lewis In Concert (1978 UK 15-track mono LP featuring the great Tubby Hayes on Tenor, recorded at the City Hall in Sheffield on January 29th 1954. The night was dedicated to the great Stan Kenton, who's trip to Britain was something of a talking point among jazz fans in the country the previous year. The front laminated picture sleeve has extensive album notes on the reverse, the vinyl looks barely played. This is an archive copy from the late bandleader's vast & personal collection, acting as a great piece of jazz history for Tubby Hayes fans alike HEP20)
