CARL PERKINS Dance Album (Debut 1959 UK 12-track deep groove mono LP on the purple & silver London label. This is simply one of the greatest Rock N Roll records ever recorded by Sun, including the original version of the huge crossover hit, Blue Suede Shoes, plus many more raucous rockabilly classics [no less than three of which were covered by the Beatles!], front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The flimsy sleeve shows some ring wear & corner creasing which has caused some lifting to the laminate and also a tear to the flipbacks. By no means mint, the sleeve still holds up well with all text clearly legible. The vinyl is clean & sounds fantastic. There is a bit of spindle wear & the odd faint hairline but these blemishes are very mild. This is a nice example of a classic record that reaches a Very Good grade HA-S2202)
