CHARLIE PARKER Historical Masterpieces (Superb set of the three LP volumes in the series from 1964 containing Twenty beautiful tracks recorded between 1948 & 1950, mostly live at The Royal Roost, also featuring Miles Davis, Kenny Dorham orFats Navarro on Trumpet, Al Haig, Bud Powell or Tad Dameron on Piano, Tommy Potter on Bass & Max Roach or Roy Haynes on Drums. Each volume has a lovely flipback picture sleeve with extensive sleeve notes on the back by Charles Fox. The sleeves are all in great condition with minimal shelfwear or edge scuffing & the vinyl is awesome, looking barely played - a fantastic set! MGMC986/7/8)
