PAT METHENY Imaginary Day (1998 Japan-only promotional 13-track 2-cd set - a wonderful set from the jazz-quartet, winning them the 1999 Grammy for Best Contemporary Jazz Album. The set comprises of the album plus an exclusive 4-track Remix CD, featuring 2 album tracks: Across The Sky and The Roots Of Coincidence, with the respective Goldie Remix and Mr Spring's Filter Kings 1.1 Mix. All liner notes for the album are cleverly coded using an image cypher, the key to which is the discitself. Both discs are custom printed [the remix CD also having a custom printed picture sleeve], complete with a 20-page Japanese lyric booklet, containing reproductions of the album score, which is nicely presented in a promo-stickered slipcse, complete with full-front, promo-stickered obi-strip - a truly unique and charming set to behold)
