BILLIE HOLIDAY Lady Sings The Blues (1981 Japanese 'Virgin Vinyl' 12-track Verve label MONO vinyl LP album manufactured by Polydor, featuring a collection of rare blues numbers recorded during the course of her long career from 1933 to 1959 including a varied mixture of titles from the American songbook and her own compositions, produced by her accompanying musicians Tony Scott and Paul Quinichette who are two names that made their mark on her music in the mid-Fifties. Housed in a picture sleeve complete with insert and 'The Original Verve Jazz Classics' obi-strip UMV-2047)
