QUEEN News Of The World - Robot (Now legendary UK promotional-only large plastic robot - as seen on the front cover of the album sleeve - manufactured in very small number for exclusive display inside high-profile record stores as part of the promotional campaign for their 1977 album. Measuring approximately 54 inches in height - nearly 140cm - this incredible rarity is made from silver coloured moulded plastic. The robot's hands create a platform upon which the vinyl LPs can be displayed, held in place by the original wire-framed basket. This particular example stood in pride of place inside EMI's London HQ and subsequently remained in the possession of a former EMI exec, .....until now. One of the coolest pieces of vintage display memorabilia ever created and, as such, ideal for display in a home or commercial environment. You don't even need to be a Queen collector to appreciate and enjoy this super-cool robot!)
