MARY WELLS Sings My Guy (Original 1964 UK issue 12-track Stateside/EMI label MONO vinyl LP of the fourth studio album from 'The First Lady of Motown', featuring backing vocals provided by The Love Tones and The Andantes with instrumentation by The Funk Brothers, produced and partially written by Smokey Robinson. Includes her signature song 'My Guy' which became her biggest hit single and reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart replacing Louis Armstrong's 'Hello Dolly'. Housed in a front laminated flipback pinched spine picture sleeve manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse, the sleeve shows only a few minor signs of age with some light discolouration on the back; the vinyl is superb with only a few light surface marks from being taken in & out of the sleeve - overall a superb copy!)
