TEMPLE OF THE DOG Temple Of The Dog (Scarce 1993 Japanese 10-track CD for the only album release by this American rock band. Conceived by Chris Cornell [who was in Soundgarden at the time] as a tribute to his friend Andrew Wood, lead singer of Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. The rest of the band consists of Stone Gossard & Jeff Ament [both ex-members of Mother Love Bone], Mike McCready, Matt Cameron [who was with Soundgarden at the time] and Eddie Vedder - basically a super group made up of members of Soundgarden with Pearl Jam, including the singles 'Hunger Strike', 'Say Hello 2 Heaven' and 'Pushin Forward Back'. After this album was released Soundgarden went to records their classic 'Badmotorfinger' album and Pearl Jam released their outstanding debut 'Ten'.
