TEMPLE OF THE DOG Temple Of The Dog (Scarce 1993 Japanese 10-track CD for the only album release by this American rock band. Conceived by Chris Cornell [who was in Soundgarden at the time] as a tribute to his friend Andrew Wood, lead singer of Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. The rest of the band consists of Stone Gossard & Jeff Ament [both ex-members of Mother Love Bone], Mike McCready, Matt Cameron [who was with Soundgarden at the time] and Eddie Vedder - basically a super group made up of members of Soundgarden with Pearl Jam, including the singles 'Hunger Strike', 'Say Hello 2 Heaven' and 'Pushin Forward Back'. After this album was released Soundgarden went to records their classic 'Badmotorfinger' album and Pearl Jam released their outstanding debut 'Ten'. Complete with picture sleeve and lyric booklet, also includes a fold-out Seattle bands 'family tree' insert plus original obi-strip POCM-1927)
