EDDY GRANT Walking In Sunshine (2008 issue UK 'Deluxe Edition' 2-disc set - 1979's 'Walking On Sunshine' was recorded at his own Coach House studios in North London, and witnessed Grant seeking creative freedom by self-producing all of the songsand playing most of the featured instruments for the first time. The result was a stylistically open-minded set, an experimental fusion of Caribbean calypso and early soca with pop, reggae and funk, under-pinned by Grant's trademark lyrical themes of protest and social commentary. This 2008 edition comprises a 12-track digitally remastered CD album featuring the singles 'Walking On Sunshine', 'Living On The Frontline' & 'Say I Love You' alongside 3 Bonus Recordings including an exclusive new extended edit of 'Say I Love You' by Grant himself, the rare 1978 12" mix of 'Nobody's Got Time' and a monster percussive Yoruba version of 'Say I Love You' previously only released in Nigeria; plus a Bonus DVD containing amazing rare footage capturing Eddy Grant live: 'Live at Luna Park, Buenos Aires' features an explosive pre-Falklands War concert including a young Diego Maradona joining Eddy on stage, whilst 'Live in Milan, 1979', showcases Grant's raw early energy and a super-tight band on a short festival set.)
