GERALD WILSON ORCHESTRA Portraits (Rare 1964 US original deep red vinyl Pacific Jazz 7-track LP, opening with a superb rendition of the Mile Davis' composition So What, which along with Monk's 'Round Midnight represent tributes to two of Gerald's favourite musicians. The other 5 tracks are original Gerald Wilson compositions. In glorious stereo, the vinyl is MINT condition, the pasted picture sleeve displaying only minimal ringwear - a wonderful example of a most enjoyable record)
