In 1993, Jean Michel Jarre released his first work to be largely influenced by the techno-music scene entitled Chronologie.

Jarre promoted the Chronologie album with a tour, the first large scale tour Jarre had undertaken since the mini tour of China back in 1981. The tour entitled 'Europe In Concert' was a series of concerts on a smaller scale than that of previous one-offs, but heavily featured a backdrop of makeshift skyscrapers and also skytrackers, laser imaging, and fireworks. This took Jarre across several European cities, including Lausanne, the Mont St Michel, London, Manchester, Barcelona and the Versailles Palace near Paris.

This beautiful mirror was commissioned to commemorate the concert held at Wembley stadium, London on 29th August 1993.

The mirror is landscape and measures 25" x 35" including the black wooden frame. The majority of the mirror is dominated by a multi coloured Chronologie themed piece of artwork. The artist name and tour title is on the reflective mirror part and is highlighted by a black border. The lower part has the venue and gate details printed in black with the words, 'Many Thanks, Mel Bush'


With each of the acts promoted by Mel Bush, once a successful tour or concert had taken place, Mel would commission a commemorative plaque or mirror as a souvenir of the event. Usually these would be presented to the artist, with an additional one kept in his own personal archive.

Now semi-retired, Mel has decided to part with his treasured archive of mirrors and plaques and we have been enlisted to help him find good homes for his collection.

Visually stunning display item that's sure to be the focal point of any room it it hung in and despite being 15 years old it remains in perfect condition having been preserved in bubblewrap in the Mel Bush archive since it was commissioned.
