SONNY ROLLINS East Broadway Run Down (2007 German limited edition 3-track LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL; this 1966 album bubbles & seethes from the very first minute! Tried & tested from their time with John Coltrane, Jimmy Garrison &Elvin Jones drive the trio to the heights of their powers. Sometimes Jones appears to have 4 hands & feet, while Garrison treats the bass as though it were an oversize guitar. Right from the start the throbbing beat is forced upon Rollins'tenor sax, and he takes it up with a vengeance! Presented in sealed & stickered gatefold sleeve)
