OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN Till You Say You'll Be Mine (Amongst the legendary, this original 1966 UK STOCK COPY debut solo 7" vinyl single also features For Ever & still has an intact four prong push out centre & the original Decca orange stripeypaper sleeve. Much rarer than demo copies, this is one of the rarest UK singles in existence. The vinyl shows some light surface marks but labels are clean & bright & the disc plays without fault so is graded VG F.12396)

This is one of the rarest UK singles to find and far & away the rarest retail release of Olivia.

The single sports the classic silver on blue Decca radial 'ffrr' logo label.
The labels themselves are bright & clean with immaculate print and are showing no obvious wear or spindle marks. They are also free of any writing or label marks. Mint.

The matrices on the vinyl are stamped XRDF-38008-T1-1C & XRDF-38009-T1-1C.

The vinyl exhibits many scuffs to the surface but has no 'scratches' of import. On play testing, it was found to have a certain level of ambient surface noise throughout although no percussive 'clicks' and played through without fault.
Louder passages on Side One did exhibit some 'edge burring' to the audio, indicating perhaps past plays with a heavy sixties stylus.
Side two is a much quieter folky song and seems to have less ambient surface noise as well as no obvious sonic distortion.

The paper sleeve is the classic Decca orange 'stripey' and is free from any tears or writing.

All in all, this is a very respectable copy of a now nearly impossible to find Olivia/Decca rarity in a very playable & listenable VG condition & can be yours for a fraction of the price that a mint copy would sell for - If you can find one!
